A chat app in which each person writes and reads in their own language – messages arrive the way they were meant.
Two languages, one conversation – without the hassle of copying into a translator.
The idea
People who don’t share a language – families across borders, long-distance relationships – simply want to write to each other. Translator apps are cumbersome: select, copy, paste, copy the reply back. sabai does away with all that.
The build
A full chat: you write in German, the other person reads in Thai, Italian, English … The translation takes the flow of the conversation into account, not just individual words. Dictation, a back-translation “magnifier”, reactions and read receipts are built in – 24 languages, encrypted and entirely without an app store.
The benefit
Both write in their own language and still understand each other – tone, feeling and terms of endearment are preserved. Set up in under a minute; the other side only needs a link.
